Customizer settings

You are here:

Customizer allows you to configure your website’s main options globally and with ease. This is one of the most useful panel of your WordPress admin area. Customizer gives the website administrator a real-time preview of changes they have made on the website.

Below you can find more information regarding customizer settings.

Site Identity

In this section you can set

  1. Site Title;
  2. Tagline – In entertainment, a tagline is a short text which serves to clarify a thought for, or is designed with a form of dramatic effect. Many tagline slogans are reiterated phrases associated with an individual, social group, or product;
  3. Site Icon – shortcut icon, website icon. Site Icons are what you see in browser tabs, bookmark bars, and within the WordPress mobile apps.
Menus

In this section you can customize your menus. Reorder, add or remove items, select menu location and attach menu to location.

Homepage Settings

In this section you can set

  1. Your Homepage Displays – Your latest posts or a static page;
  2. Homepage – Select your home page from the dropdown list;
  3. Post Page – Select your post page from the dropdown menu.

  1. Header Template – set general header template;
  2. Footer Template – set general footer template;
  3. Page Template – Set general page template;
  4. Attachment Template – set general attachment template;
  5. Seach Results Template – set template for search results page;
  6. 404 Template – set template if any page can not be found.
Blog / News

Blog Page

  1. Blog Home Layout – Attach your blog archive template;
  2. Blog Excerpt Length – Set the length to you Blog Post in the Blog Archive List;
  3. Header Template (Only for PRO) – Attach Header;
  4. Footer Template (Only for PRO) – Attach Footer.

Blog Category & Tag

  1. Blog Archive Layout – Attach your blog archive for taxonimies;
  2. Header Template (Only for PRO) – Attach Header;
  3. Footer Template (Only for PRO) – Attach Footer.

Single Post Page

  1. Standart Post Layout – Attach your single post
  2. Header Template (Only or PRO) – Attach Header
  3. Footer Template (Only or PRO) – Attach Footer
Additional CSS

You can add your own CSS code here to customize the appearance and layout of your site.

When you install plugin Pods (for custom post types) and plugin Woocommerce (for shop) in the customizer will appear new sections – if you name your custom post Project the section in customizer will be Project. The section for shop is Woocommerce.

  1. Product Layout – Attach your single product

Store notice

  1. If enabled, this text will be shown site-wide. You can use it to show events or promotions to visitors

Product Catalog Settings

  1. Shop page display – Choose what to display on the main shop page
  2. Category display – Choose what to display on product category pages
  3. Default product sorting – How should products be sorted in the catalog by default?
  4. Products per row – How many products should be shown per row?
  5. Rows per page – How many rows of products should be shown per page?

Product Images Settings

  1. Main image width – Image size used for the main image on single product pages. These images will remain uncropped
  2. Thumbnail width – Image size used for products in the catalog
  3. Thumbnail cropping

Checkout Settings

  1. Company name field
  2. Address line 2 field
  3. Phone field
  4. Privacy policy page
  5. Terms and conditions page
